The Book

April 13, 2011NehaVersed, Word expressions

This is a book misfit in any genre
The librarian would be bewildered
Looking through her bulky glasses
Unable to decide where to shelve it

Swarmed with bizarre characters
Random and futile to the storyline
Until a later page shockingly reveals
Their significant placing in this epic

Lost in every word, page numbers fly
An expectation giving rise to prediction
Wanting the story to advance your way
Just then comes the author’s curve ball

Chapter after chapter the plot thickens
Fantasies intertwine with stark reality
Tragedy is friends with all that’s comedy
Its a maze of doldrums and nail biting thrillers

Strangely the book also changes in volume
Pages get added and pages get removed
It seems as if the author is still writing
This book that is so aptly titled LIFE!
