Art to row your boat!

April 16, 2019

Art to row your boat! Of all the works on display at the Chihuly Garden and Glass, this was probably my most favorite. The vibrant colors, the setting, the props and the story behind it... so simple, yet so full of wonder. A combination of Ikebana art and Niijima floats - where an ancient art form complements the simply practical everyday floating devices used by Japanese fishermen. The marriage of the two... one would have never imagined, but has been put together brilliantly! . . . . . #chihulygardenandglass #dalechihuly #seattle #seattlewashington #seattlewa #nehalimayephotography #reminiscingthetrip #art #museum #glassart #ikebana #niijimafloats #instagood #picoftheday #colorful #vibrant #beautiful #artistwork #travel #travelphotography #traveling #traveldiaries
