In this crowded world I searched for so long Every moment in time My mind wandered far
At times I pretended I waited for a response From something that was A figment of my fantasy
Always wanted to share My tears and my laughs With someone I imagined To mirror all I thought
Little did I know that There was a real being An identity and a mind Who spoke it as it is
A hand that guides me A heart that loves me Checks and balances me To bring the best of me
