Color me some red!

August 23, 2020

Color me some red! . Summer is passing by, so making most of the summer fruit and it’s galore is what we are all doing. You can never go wrong with a strawberries and walnut salad on a hot summer afternoon. It will surely brighten your spirit up. . So easy to put together - a bed of arugula, sliced sweet onions, some cheddar or gouda shreds, a sprinkling of walnuts and last but absolutely the highlight... ripe red strawberries! For the dressings: You can go with a mix of balsamic glaze, olive oil, salt and fresh ground pepper. Or my favorite - a dash of honey mustard, olive oil, lemon juice, salt and fresh ground pepper. . Tip: Keep dressings on the side, so folks have a choice to try from. , Fun fact: I was able to click a few pictures and while I was reviewing them, this plate got swiped and devoured by my daughter. 😀😀 . There cannot be an easier way to eat your colors than this beautiful summer salad plated expression. . Make it. Share it. Tag it #platedexpressions . Backdrop: Weathered White [custom hand painted backdrop by @neha.limaye] . This is my contribution to the Fruits and Veggies Color collab - #producecolorcollabs hosted by @allisondavidphotography and @anna_janecka . . . . . #strawberrysalad #strawberries #summersalad #red #eatyourcolors #artofplating #foodphotography #foodphoto #foodartblog #cuisine_captures #cuisine_creations #onourcreativetable #fruits #fruitsalad #yummy #raw_foodie #raw_featuremyfood #buzzfeast #givemethatplant #flatlaytoday #flatlayphotography #produceisbeautifulproject
