December is here! It’s the cookies’ month. Featuring: The blueberry cheesecake cookie. . For kicking off this month, ideally something more gingery and warm would be the way to go, but when the soul craves, the soul wants! And voila... cravings were satisfied with this cheesy, berry concoction. . These cookies cannot be simpler to make and the base recipe is very flexible. It’s the same from one of my summer posts of cheesecake cookies with pecans on top. One bowl mix - whip up one 8oz pack of cream cheese, one stick (1/2 cup) softened butter till smooth. Add 1 cup flour, 3/4 cup sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract to this. Mix well till all combined. Fold in fresh blueberries. Dollop with a cookie scoop on a greased cookie sheet, leaving about an inch or two in between each dollop. Bake at 350F (preheated) for approx 20 minutes or until edges turn golden (not brown). Let cool on cookie sheet. Take in the goodness... warm or room temperature. . Sitting by the tree, espresso shots in hand with the indulgent cheese cakey, sweet and tart goodness of these plated expressions... was the perfect start to this Holiday month! . Make it. Share it. Tag it #platedexpressions (Humble request - if you try my or anyone else’s recipes shared on Insta or anywhere, please give a quick shoutout, share your pictures or even the experience. It only puts a smile on our faces. ‘Tis the season of giving, after all). 😊😊 . Backdrop: Cosmic glitter [custom hand painted, by @neha.limaye] . Note: Swap blueberries for any other berries, fruits, nuts... go crazy! And it’s a new cookie every time. . . . . . #december #cookies #cookierecipe #blueberrycheesecake #cheesecake #holidayseason #holidays #christmas #christmastree #christmascookies #foodartblog #foodphoto #foodphotography #dessert #raw_featuremyfood #raw_foodie #raw_sweets #recipesthatreallywork #buzzfeast #onourcreativetable #cuisine_creations #damnthatsdelish #tastemademedoit #yummy #tasty #easyrecipes
