Dessert for one, please. . It’s almost time to call it a day... and I needed something sweet. And hey, did you know that it’s National Blueberry Popsicle Day? Well, technically it was yesterday... but 🤷🏻♀️ . Since blueberry is my favorite berry, I had to participate in the #blueberriesflashcollab hosted by @allisondavidphotography. So this is my contribution to this fun collab. . Nothing fancy here... just simple vanilla ice cream mixed in with blueberries and lychees. I know the ice cream is all melted... but that’s the best way to have this! Trust me on it. Let it melt a little and indulge in spoon after spoon of creamy goodness and berry sweetness. It’s simply delicious. . This is my tribute to the summers that I spent in Mahableshwar (a small town in India) where part of my dad’s family lives. That is where we would indulge in this dessert everyday. If you’ve been there, you probably already know the love affair you can have with all kinds of berries and lychees which are grown in abundance. If you haven’t, I’d highly recommend you put it on your list of places to visit. It’s this tiny little town where everyone knows everyone. It’s nestled in hills and valleys, where you go horseback riding. It’s lined with a beautiful lake, where you take the boat out in the evenings and you wrap your day up with an open fire roasted corn on the cob that is sold on every street corner. Well, that’s how it used to be 20-30 years ago... don’t know about now, but how different can it be? .
