Family. Friends. Festivities. Happy Thanksgiving, all. It’s been a very very long time since I posted. Missed out on sharing a whole lot of seasonal and festive times, especially Diwali. But, here I am… mixing and shaking it up a little with a tasting menu of Diwali goodies for a pre Thanksgiving-Friendsgiving. On my recent trip to India, I picked up these little brass and copper buckets. At the time, I had no idea on how I would use them. But I just had to have them. Fast forward a few days, back home in the US, had a few friends over for dinner and while putting together a tasting menu of Diwali snacks… paired these up with a slate tray and other tasting plates and surely it was a winner during the appetizer round! I love it when my plated expressions have a travel story attached to them. They become a part of the meal time conversation… just like this one. Make it. Share it.
