Grit is what we need today! . Shrimp and grits - a tribute to southern comfort... comfort is what we need today. A tribute to the beautiful colorful city of New Orleans... hope you recover from this mayhem soon. Every travel, I bring home a taste of the place we had been to. Picked up spices, dry grits and a whole bunch of other things. Last night was the night where the taste of New Orleans that was lingering inside of me came alive in my kitchen. The family loved it and I shared stories of my travel with them at dinner time.
