I am dragon good!

I am dragon good! Simplicity all the way. Natural all the way. Easy all the way. My love with the dragon fruit began years ago on a tropical vacation. The textures, the taste and the nourishment that this cactus offers... are just the bonus on top of the art of nature that it embodies. This is my breakfast, but it makes for a great dessert or snack as well. With Father’s Day around the corner and Grads being celebrated everywhere... add this to the table and it’s sure to brighten up that setting. Serve it up a few different ways. 1) Simply cubed by itself or mixed with another tropical fruit... I went with mango for my plate. 2) Cubed or melon balled, again by itself or mixed with another fruit; topped with a drizzle of honey and dash of lemon juice. 3) If you want a zing... add a quarter of a jalapeño (finely chopped), some chopped coriander, a pinch of salt and a dash of lemon juice. For this version, definitely add another fruit, such as mango, strawberry or peach. In short you are turning it into a salsa to serve with chips! Best of all; when halved and the fruit is scooped out the outer skin makes for bright and colorful natural bowls! All in all, with a product of nature as beautiful as this one... the simplest of plates expression can completely wow your senses. Make it. Share it.
