Love at first sight Series: Moods and musings Series: Nature’s wonders An iconic part of the Western India landscape; the Duke’s Nose or Nagphani mountain holds a very special place in my heart. I was always in awe of this nose shaped geological formation. But my fascination grew even further when on one of those frequent childhood trips to Lonavla, my mom pointed to it and told me of it’s name. Ever since, I would seek sight of it on our trips back and forth to Mumbai and even trekked up the mountain in my younger days. That process of seeking sight… still continues for me. I do it on every trip to India, while driving past Lonavala; now with the added pictures.
