Slice up 5-6 apples, mix with approx 1/2 cup brown sugar, some ground apple pie spice (cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg), lemon juice. Slightly cook in a pan to semi-soften. Arrange in pie crust to form a rose, bake on 425 for about 15 minutes and then at 375 for about 25-30 minutes.
