“A promised land”

“A promised land” Series: Moods and musings Sitting on the beach, a look up from my book… and this frame was a happenstance. My red pants, the white and blue towel lurking from a chair, the apt book on my lap and my sandals taking a foot forward. Well, at that point what do I do? I capture it in a picture. And when a certain topic is on your mind a lot, you see this picture as a sign. A sign that says - yes, we are at a juncture today where things seem to be going backwards; but Hope can do wonders and Hope can channel positivity towards making good things happen. So on the Eve of the day we celebrate the Red, White & Blue… let’s make a promise to ourselves that we won’t let Hope die, that we won’t sit back and accept, but we will channel ourselves towards taking a positive step forward in the right direction. A step could be a leap, a jump, or just a baby step… a step that could be a full blown program or a step where we speak up, voice ourselves, send out a message. A step is a step. Small or big, it will make a difference. So let’s do it.
