Aging beauty Series: Moods and musings Series: Nature’s wonders Series: Contrasting drama Fact: These are roses from my mom’s farm. Her green thumb is sans pareil. From my early childhood until now, I’ve seen her to be the happiest when she is amongst her plants and flowers at the farm. She nurtured them as her babies then and still does. Even as they reach their end of life. These beauties were in full bloom, aged and in need of some rest. We picked them up, laid them down and just watched in silence. Their beauty too is sans pareil. Laying there in twilight, they looked as if they were at peace and radiated a zen like aura… almost one that had a glow coming at us.
