App it up!
June 22, 2020
App it up! . For those who are following my posts, incognitos included 😉, this one’s a follow up to the cherry jam from a couple posts ago. Warm Brie, cherry jam and roasted garlic on crostinis. . Sometimes on weeknights after a long work day, my husband and I like to pour ourselves a drink and relax on the deck. And of course you can’t have a drink without something to nibble on. So this was a quick make... modest yet elegant to go with our drinks. . To make - 1)Wrap Brie in aluminum foil, warm in oven at 350F until soft and spreadable. Approx 5-7 mins for a wedge, 10-12 for a wheel. 2)Wrap garlic pod with a dash of olive oil and sea salt in foil, toss into oven at 350F for approx 10 minutes. Once soft, peel garlic and either slice or chop. 3)Cherry jam recipe in my earlier post. 4)Assemble: spread warm Brie on crostinis. Dollop some jam. Top with garlic. . There you go - eye pleasing and lip smacking appetizer to serve as your #platedexpressions to wind down this Monday! . Tips and Notes: 1) Garlic can be roasted and stored in the refrigerator for a few days. 2) Crostini can be store bought or slice up a baguette, drizzle olive oil, bake on baking sheet for approx 20 minutes at 350F. 3) And hey, if you try one of my recipes or quick fixes like these, give me a shout out... I would love that! . . . #mondaymood #appetizer #crostini #brie #brieandjam #cherryjam #snack #easyrecipes #quickfix #cheeseboard #damnthatsdelish #cookingwithgoodful #colorfulfood #jam #foodphotography #foodphoto #cookniche #foodstagram #cheeselover #cheeseplease #briecheese #simplecooking #recipe #garlic #tasty #yummy
