In the mood for some mono-tone tonight! . Cabbage slaw with an Indian twist (desi slaw) and Mediterranean chicken skewers (courtesy, @costco). For the slaw - chop up cabbage nice and thin, add chopped tomatoes, dash of salt and a hint of sugar. For the tempered dressing - heat a spoonful of veg oil, add mustard seeds and let them crackle, add cumin seeds and throw in a couple of green chilies... swirl it all around and pour over the cabbage and tomatoes. Toss it all up. Serve immediately and top off with the skewers (heated in oven at 400F).
