Booze it up! So the story behind this one - a friend asked me to bring a boozy dessert for a summer gathering. I had a ton of things going on that week, so I knew baking from scratch was going to be impossible and that I would have to wing it with some spiked cream/frosting etc. Then, and not kidding… the droppers idea occurred a night before (almost as I was falling asleep); and god bless @amazon for next day delivery… I placed the order! Next day - I had my daughter pick up these ready dessert shells from the store. You’ll find them (almost every time) by the strawberries. I reached for my second love, mascarpone cheese! Added some whipped cream and honey to it… mixed it well until smooth. Filled the shells with the cream and topped them up with some chopped strawberries and peaches. Filled up the droppers with some honey bourbon, that we picked up at the @saxtonsdistillery on our trip to Vermont and voila… we had a boozy dessert ready in minutes! These plated expressions were so much fun to indulge… especially when you took the dropper and doused the cake and cream with that Bourbon! Make it. Share it.
