Fish and chips (in Indian spices)

February 4, 2021

Fish and chips (in Indian spices) When you crave fish and chips... but also crave spiced up Indian food, you make something to satisfy both cravings: Goan rava fish with tandoori fries. Best part - these are made in the air fryer so sort of guilt free! Rava fish: Cleaned cod fillets get coated in a mix of coarse semolina, rice flour, paprika, turmeric, little oil and salt (all eyeballed to taste). In the air fryer they go for about 5-10 minutes at 350F. It depends on the cut and size of fillet. So check for them to turn golden brown. Cut through one to make sure fish is cooked through. And they are ready to be devoured. Fries: Cut potatoes lengthwise (skin on). Soak in salt water for a few minutes. Coat with tandoori masala powder, a light drizzle of oil and just a dash of salt. Lay them on parchment paper on air fryer tray for about 10-15 minutes at 350F or until nicely crisped and cooked. Try one out before you plate. That’s the best part! I served my fusioned fish and chips with a side of coriander, chili and lime infused yogurt sauce that added a cool and zesty flavor to this yummy plated expression. Make it. Share it.
